Smalltown is a place at the heart of the Barossa Valley, Australia’s oldest wine region. From our home just outside the small town of Marananga winemakers Tom White and Rolf Binder bottle decades of experience, love and handsomeness in the Smalltown wines. Tom has been a Barossa winemaker for 20 years and Rolf for at least 140 years. We draw fruit from vineyards ancient and young, on an ever-evolving exploration of the Barossa’s fabled vines. Minimal handling, natural ferments and vegan friendly wines suit not just these lazy winemakers but allow for honest expressions of place and more time to drink wine. We like a loud label, its only wine after all, albeit bloody good.
