Amo Vino: a celebration of the often-overlooked Riverland region and its rich cultural heritage, in the form of incredibly drinkable, good-times wines.

Let’s face it, Australia’s Riverland region has a less-than-shiny reputation. Some mass-producers’ products have overshadowed the potential of the area, with grape growers pushed to produce maximum yield for bottom dollar. However, times are a-changing, with smaller new-wave producers encouraging lower yield and higher quality from growers as they look for new sources of affordable grapes for accessible fun wines.

Amo Vino was born after an eye-opening trip to the Riverland with alternative variety wizz Ashley Ratcliff from Ricca Terra Farms. We have teamed up with Ashley to source sustainably grown fruit from his own vineyard and a couple of neighbours to create the Italian-inspired range. The potential quality of the fruit we saw was inspiring. With a bit of flair and extra care, the grapes from South Australia’s underdog region shine across this range. Saluté!
