NV Pinot Meunier Pet Nat

A crowd-pleasing style of pet nat with all the hallmarks of charismatic pinot meunier. Undisgorged with minimal sediment, punchy acid and fine fizz. The palate has a nice creamy mousse, lovely lifted fruit flavours and typically punchy acidity from the meunier. If you're wondering how weird or wild it is, it's on the tamer end of things. Perfect for picnics and/or sun soaked afternoons. It's the convivial pet nat vibe, ya know.

LDZD Assembly Sparkling

A seriously fancy traditional method sparkling with 8 years on lees and zero dosage. The richness of flavour in this wine in combination with the springy acidity means it is a great contender for food that goes beyond the aperitif course. We have a tradition in our house that for Christmas breakfast, we make potato and scallop pancakes that are fried in butter and topped with chive & creme fraiche.

2021 Skinsy Pinot Gris

A deeply orange wine full of spice, skinsy complexity and edgy acidity that showcases the wilder side of pinot gris. It is a little cloudy, with aromas of fig, mandarin and dried aromatic herbs like fennel and cardamon. Despite the deep colour it's quite a light wine, with flavours of nashi skin and blood orange marmalade - with a savoury kick from the stems component. Yum.

2021 Baritone Rose

A dark, dry rose that borders on light red; showcasing the bright exuberance of early picked pinot noir. This rose is halfway between a light red and rose; dark in colour but with the soul of a lighter wine (and bone dry). It features superfine acidity, creamy texture from lees ageing and a kaleidoscope of red fruit flavours that are reminiscent of wild raspberries, cherries, red currants and pomegranate. A super- premium, super-charming wine.

2021 Pinot Meunier

A bright yet savory light red with the ethereal, redolent pinot meunier x-factor. Pinot meunier is light-bodied, low tannin and plenty of red fruit flavours - which are juxtaposed against an earthy, savoury backdrop. The fruit flavours are reminiscent of pomegranate and blood plum, with an appealing kick of a bresaola-like meatiness on the palate. It's a light-bodied wine but has real presence and character. Released in early 2021, it will confidently age for a few years and flesh out over time.

2021 Pinot Noir / Pinot Meunier

A feather light, pure, primary pinot noir and pinot meunier blend with classic fragrance and a silky mouthfeel. It's a super springy, lightweight, primary wine with a silky, fine, acid driven mouthfeel. The flavours are more forward than the other two red wines, it's very much in the bright red fruit spectrum - wild raspberry, pomegranate and cherry, and a hint of fragrant white spice in the background.

2021 Pinot Noir / Pinot Meunier

A classic, gilded, fragrant pinot noir that reflects its cold climate site. This wine is all about the balance between the classic Whitlands acidity, fruit weight and structure. Dark cherries, pomegranate, wild raspberry and some underlying graphite-like savouriness. Big floral aromatics and super fine grape-tannin structure rounds it out – the whole package together is very much classic style cold climate pinot noir.
