2017 Domaine a Lady A Sauvignon Blanc

Produced from the 1ha estate planting of old vines, picked in small batches, fermented in new French oak, and matured on lees for 12 months before bottling (and a further 2 years on cork). 2016 Lady A is a wine of gorgeous golden colour with an opulent nose of honeyed yellow fruits, preserved lemon, cashew and chamomile. The lush flavour and underlying current of acidity continue on the palate with a sumptuously creamy texture. After layers of complexity it finishes with a beguiling freshness - another year of undiminished excellence! Which seems a fitting tribute for the woman who inspired this wine - Ruth Althaus.

91 Points - Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2020

2015 Domaine A Pinot Noir

92 Points“Very astute work from Curly on the 2014 and the 2015 seems to have followed on closely. This follows suit in style, broad shouldered, stewed fruit dominant, sooty oak characters, leather and dried fruit n nut between palate and bouquet. Rolls around the palate more like bolder varieties, it’s really inky, chewy and laced with dark chocolate drinking powder tannin and loads of woody, old spice cupboard character. This one asks you to engage and strap in. As full tilt as pinot noir can get and should get, really.” – Mike Bennie, The Wine Front, September 2021

2014 Domaine A Petit a Cabernet Blend

94 Points“This is a savoury, silky, hyggelicious delight, perfect for cosying up in front of a roaring fire in your cashmere and Ugg boots. Dark plums and damsons, cherries, vanilla, autumnal crispy leaves, sweet spices, and smokiness combine with mouthwatering acidity and well balanced, grippy tannins. Still a baby, this is one that you can tuck away for a few years to let those intense and concentrated fruit characteristics slip into something even more sultry and savoury.” – Curly Haslam-Coates, The Wine Front, May 2021

2015 Domaine A Merlot

Juicy, plump and bursting with blackcurrant cordial and cassis on the nose. You'll catch hints of salinity and black olives on the palate, as well as a healthy wallop of worn leather, tobacco leaf, and the spiced, oak-driven cedar character that unites all Domaine A Merlot releases. The back end is long, savoury and rewarding, with hints of coffee bean, and the overall structure will remain robust even with a few years in the cellar. – Domaine A

2011 Domaine A Cabernet

Very much a product of a cooler year, the long-awaited 2011 vintage of the Domaine A’s flagship wine still showcases the full range of cabernet character synonymous with the vineyard. An earthy, complex blend of potpourri, roasted beetroot and dark fruits (plum, blackberries, cassis) sit beneath spiced top notes of vanilla and faint star anise. Cured meat and a hint of char reward closer inspection, before a long, building finish. Planting a few in the cellar will reap significant rewards down the track. – Domaine A

2018 Stoney Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

Fresh, verdant and refreshing. Flickering yellow and green in the glass, our 2018 Sauvignon Blanc welcomes you with crunchy green salad aromas: cucumber, green capsicum and new asparagus. Then to the fruit pop palate of cantaloupe, honeydew and passionfruit. The fruit sweetness is balanced with pleasing acidity and intensity, and a satisfying medium finish. A great value bottle. – Stoney Vineyard

2019 Stoney Vineyard Pinot Noir

89 Points - Hand harvested. The absence of irrigation in the Stoney Vineyard produces a high skin–flesh ratio that makes for a distinctively structured and concentrated pinot in this warm season. Blackberry and black plum fruit is laid out on a bed of firm, fine tanins that draw out a dry and savoury finish, backed by smoky oak.” - Tyson Stelzer for Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2022

2015 Stoney Vineyard Cabernet

Lush red in colour, plenty of dark fruit and a dash of herbaceousness, like just-crushed mint leaf. Dark fruit flavours of currants and blueberries. Substantial length, developing layers over time, with well-integrated oak textures.
