2018 single block ‘Block b3’ Chardonnay

“Pale straw green colour with aromas of lime, wet slate and almond croissant. The palate is brimming with bright primary citrus and stone fruits, underpinned by racy minerality and a long saline finish.” - Clyde Park

94 Points - “A wine that has clearly been fermented on full solids with its waft of toasted hazelnut, oatmeal and saline mineral grip. Yet nothing is too hard, edgy or clenched by reduction. Conversely, this flows long and unashamedly rich of stone fruit flavours framed by high quality new French oak (25%). The pedal here is firmly planted on the flavour accelerator.” - Ned Goodwin for Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2020

2017 Single Block ‘Block F College’ Pinot Noir

96 Points - “Clone MV6 planted in ‘88, 10-day wild ferment with 20% whole bunches, matured for 8 months in French oak (25% new). The bouquet has notes of rhubarb and blue fruits; the palate is very long and persistent, the balance underscoring the cellaring potential of a high class wine.” - Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2019

2016 Single Block ‘Block D’ Pinot Noir

97 Points - “MV6 clone planted '88, 60% whole bunches, wild-fermented, post-ferment maceration, 35 days on skins, matured for 11 months in French oak (33% new), 165 dozen made. Slightly lighter, brighter colour than the standard wine, the bouquet complex, spicy and inviting; the palate has the power and drive of a tip top great Premier Cru from Vosne Romanee, and a superior outlook for cellaring, its inherent quality protected for decades by the screwcap.” - Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2018

2016 Single Block ‘Block B2’ Pinot Noir

95 Points - “Estate-grown MV6, 60% whole bunches, wild-fermented/macerated 21 days on skins, matured for 11 months in French oak (33% new), 120 dozen made. Good colour; a highly expressive red and purple-fruited bouquet segues into a well built and balanced palate in the power-laden Clyde Park style. It is so well balanced it will cruise through what will be a long life.” - Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2018

2017 Sauvignon Blanc

94 Points - “50% was racked clean to tank; 50% fermented on light solids in old oak. Body and texture are highlights, as is the brightness of the fruit. Medium intensity but everything here feels convincing. An easy to admire.” - Campbell Mattinson for Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2019

92 Points - Softer, more textural style, with creamy flavours of gooseberry and pineapple, attractive flintiness and a juicy and ripe grapefruity finish of good length. Very much a ‘more than one glass’ Sauvignon.” - Gary Walsh for The Wine Front, 2018

2020 Pinot Gris

94 Points - “In keeping with Clyde Park winemaking, this is no simple gris. Look closer. Note the restrained yet attractive scent of baked apple, glacé pear, some just-baked biscuit complexity and white nectarine. Next, the drinker moves into a smooth, rolling textural palate which is not only fresh but deep into all manner of complex tastes. Definitely tingles the tastebuds.” - Jeni Port for Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2022

2019 Chardonnay

“Our Chardonnay is from 3 clones on the deep volcanic loams and alluvial silts over limestone on the river flats of our vineyard sourced from vines planted between 1978 and 1996.

Pale straw green in colour. An alluring bouquet of crème bruleé, almond croissant, juicy peach and nectarine stone fruits. The palate is rich and generously weighted with ripe stone fruits, Kingston biscuits, lime leaf, slaty nuance and toasted French oak. The fleshy mid palate extends to a lingering creamy finish. Drink now or cellar in the medium term to be enjoyed with roast chicken or pumpkin gnocchi.” - Clyde Park

95 Points - Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2021

2019 Rosé

93 Points - “Primarily made with estate pinot noir. Lightly pressed to both tank and barrel, matured for 3 months. Strawberries and a whisk of cream make the difficult appear to be oh so easy. A great summer's day drink. Made by Robin Brockett.” - Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2021

2019 Pinot Noir

“Blended from a range of clones and soil types on the Clyde Park vineyards, this wine reflects the diverse complexity of our site’s varying aspects and soils.

Aromas of brambly blackberries, mulberries, rhubarb and spice. The palate bursts with juicy red primary fruits, sour cherries, earthy spice and is well supported by well-integrated silky tannin and lively acidity. Though abundant up front the finish is long and savoury. Will impress on immediate consumption however will continue to develop complexity with careful medium-term cellaring.” - Clyde Park

95 Points - Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2021

2017 Shiraz

95 Points - “Lighter in colour and body than the '16, purely a reflection of a very different vintage. Mind you, the colour is very good, the bouquet and palate speaking volumes for the cool vintage with the length, complexity and intensity of the spicy red and black fruits. Spice, pepper and licorice are the usual flavours in cool grown shiraz, and they're here.” - Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion 2019

94+ Points - “This is a beauty. A cool climate beauty. It’s all spice and nuts, black/red cherries and smoky oak, everything pulling as a team, everything drawing you in. Both black and white pepper notes get an airing, as does a run of ultra-fine tannin…It’s a gorgeous wine.” - Campbell Mattinson for The Wine Front, 2018

2021 Locale Chardonnay

“Blended from a range of different clones and soil types from vineyards across Geelong and Regional Victoria, along with fruit from our own estate in the Moorabool Valley, this Chardonnay is beckoning for immediate enjoyment. Carefully whole-bunch pressed and matured in French oak for about six months prior to bottling, it is a light to medium-bodied white wine that is ripe for all occasions. With hints of tropical apple on the nose, the palate shows a variety of fresh stone fruit and citrus character. But the finish is the star – a collection of subtle cream and rich oak that is perfectly delicate. Best paired with fresh prawns, baked barramundi or pâté with crunchy bread.” - Clyde Park

2021 Locale Pinot Noir

“Blended from a range of clones and soil types, carefully selected from vineyards in Geelong & Regional Victoria, this wine reflects the diverse complexity of the varying aspects and soils of those sites. The wine was fermented separately in smaller, open-top fermenters, with about 20 percent whole bunch. The ferments were then hand-plunged twice a day, to maximise the extraction of tannins and colour. The result – A bright crimson pinot that is equal-parts easy-drinking and complex. The palate presents bright fresh summer berries and aromatic spices bound with toasty oak. A fantastic red to have on its own, or perfectly paired with grilled salmon or roast chicken.” - Clyde Park
