2017 Riesling Marienburg 1er Grosses-Gewächs
Intense and chalky on the pure, crunchy, lemon-scented nose. Ripe and lush on the palate, with deep fruit, good concentration and a long, intense, crunchy and salty finish but also quite a lot of power, this full-bodied wine needs a big glass and a lot of air to unfold its talents.
2017 Riesling Marienburg 1er Grosses-gewächs ‘Fahrlay’
Upfront, aromatic and highly concentrated nose of Riesling and mirabelle fruit intermingled with dark flint and silex aromas of crushed stones. On the palate, this is a rich, generous, lush, mouth-filling but also very intense and concentrated Riesling with lots of grip and power and lingering salinity.

2017 Riesling Marienburg 1er Grosses-Gewächs ‘Rothenpfad’
Enormously deep and intense but pure and refined with beautiful aromas of herbs and crushed stones on the nose that come along like a perfume. Silky and round on the palate, this is a full-bodied, lush and refined yet concentrated and even powerful and persistent Riesling with great intensity and concentration on the long and stimulatingly salty-piquant finish.

2017 Riesling Marienburg 1er Grosses-Gewächs ‘Falkenlay’
Pure but generously ripe and bright, with matured and super matured apple aromas that are perfectly intertwined with notes of crushed or even milled stones. Full-bodied, intense and generous on the palate, this is a rich and powerful but silky-textured and highly refined Riesling with lots of extract and intensity but also elegance. The finish is dense and compact, with fine tannins intermingled with refreshing minerals that give grip and tension.

2015 Riesling Marienburg 1er ‘Fahrlay Terrassen’
This is a ripe, rich, round, beautifully piquant, pure and salty Riesling offering a clear and slatey bouquet and lemon flavours, with a long and pure, very precise, finessed and tension-filled finish.
2017 Riesling Marienburg 1er ‘Raffes’
Bright in color and flavors but also intense and intermixed with lemon-fresh stony notes, this is a concentrated yet pure, fresh and finessed, highly intense and refined Riesling with great length and an endless finish.

2018 Riesling Kabinett
Lightly smoky with some lemon pith and dried spices. There’s some light sweetness here, but it’s nicely balanced out by the edgy acidity. Taut and very precise on the finish.
